![]() ![]() Numa sounds a good degree better than the old “Lounge Lizard Session”, for example. Maybe you find the MP11 onboard sound and responsiveness isn't so bad. Gee wilikers, if you compare the quality of Numa to old free “synthedit-made” VIs, and even some retail piano/e-piano sample libraries of 10 or 12 years ago, there’s no comparison. Bluetooth midi might be to choppy so maybe you need some gizmo like the CCK to connect the MP11. It’s a huge blessing to have decent quality FREE VIs like Numa. On the other hand, not everyone has the $75 - $200 (apiece) it takes to buy each of those aforementioned high end VIs and sample libraries. The Ravenscroft 275 UVI library by VIlabs and AcousticSamples’ C7 Grand are both really, really good too. Good piano sounds requires PianoTeq or higher end Kontakt sample libraries, in my estimation. ![]() The Numa piano sounds are a hard pass for me, personally. The other electric piano tones are ok too, if they are kinda just blended into a full mix - they don’t stand up as well when utilized as solo or lead instruments. The DX7 electric piano emulation is dandy - excellent, as a matter of fact. While not as good as premium (paid) products, some of NumaPlayer’s sounds are actually decent - especially for a free offering. ![]()
